Static IP Address validation
From the data line, connect the Ethernet cable to your laptop.
In Windows, access the Control panel:
Select the network adapter:
Select Properties:
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4):
Manually enter the IP addresses:
Take a photo or screenshot of this window showing the IP addresses and upload to WO deliverables.
Save settings:
Open a web browser and confirm that you’re able to navigate to a website. If you’re not getting an internet connection, swap the Ethernet cable from a known working data line. For example, if you are working at a Love’s Travel Stop, take your laptop over to the Tobacco screen and borrow the Ethernet cable from that media player.
Run the EnGage Connectivity Test Tool.
At the end of the service visit. revert to DHCP:
