The timetable is a schedule of when each program should be playing back on the EnGage player. The simplest timetable contains a single "generic" day that represents every day, all day. Within the "day" programs can be added and scheduled to playback during specified times of that day. For example a "morning" program could be scheduled to play back from 12:00am to 12:00pm. The "afternoon" program scheduled between 12:00pm and 5:00pm and finally, an "evening" program could be scheduled between 5:00pm and 12:00am. This is referred to as "day parting".
All "days" in the timetable start and end at 12:00am. All timetables should be have programming to fill the entire 24 hour day. Panel controls can be used to start/stop playback according to the location hours.
Additional "days" can be added to the timetable and configured to represent a day of the week, day of the month, a specific date or a date range. Since days can be added that conflict with each other, the more specific the day settings, the higher the priority. For example: If there are two days added to the timetable, one set to "May 4" (a specific day) and the other set to "Monday", if May 4th lands on a Monday, the "May 4th" schedule will be used instead of the Monday schedule. The more specific, the higher the precedence.
Since the timetable points to programs and programs point to content, based on a layout, the timetable is the highest level content object which is then assigned to one or more Sites found in the Site tab.
